Enrolment based marking

Enrolment-based marking lets you start marking as soon as test-takers submit their scripts. Results are released progressively — each test-taker's result becomes available immediately after their responses are marked, without waiting for the rest of the cohort to finish.

How it works

Markers review scripts as submissions arrive. The moment a script is marked, the result is ready to release via the Candidate Dashboard or your organisation's usual channels.

When to use enrolment-based marking

Choose enrolment-based marking when:

• Your test window is open or runs across multiple days
• You need to release results progressively rather than all at once
• Real-time progress tracking is important for managing the marking team

Markers use the same marking tools as in standard marking. The main difference is that scripts arrive gradually rather than all at once.
