Settings¶

The Settings section in Janison Insights lets you customise your system's appearance and functionality. Most configuration in this area is completed by the Janison team during implementation, but some settings are relevant to how marking projects are created and managed.

Tip

To quickly locate any setting, press Alt+S and type your search terms.

Auto-create marking projects¶

By default, marking projects must be created manually. You can enable automatic project creation so that a marking project is created whenever an assessment event is progressed to delivery or closed.

To find this setting, press Alt+S and search for marking project.

Other marking-relevant settings¶

Settings that affect marking behaviour include:

Marking notifications — configure email notifications sent to markers when their status changes.
User permissions — control which roles can access the Marking module and perform chief marker tasks.
Style & Images — customise the appearance of the marking interface if required.
